Our friend Javier has been visiting us this week, and a few days ago our friend Mario got here, but we had not seen him yet, so my husband called him two nights ago and they decided that they were going to get together somewhere that night.
I have been stuck in the house, since I don't know when, so I got Javier to convince Herland that I should be going with them. Herland didn't really want to take me, but Javier said that if I didn't go, he wouldn't be going either. So yup, you guessed it, I WENT.
We went to this bar called Doral Ale House, which is a bar and restaurant, and since we were a little hungry we ordered some appetizers while we were waiting for Mario to get there.
When Mario got there we ordered some drinks, and let me tell you, after months of not having any kind of alcohol in my body, these tasted like heaven in a magic cup that makes your head spin.
When Mario got there, I was already laughing at everything, even this guy that was sitting at the bar seemed to me like he was dressed funny, but you tell me, was it just me, or does he look funny with those blue camouflaged pants, flip flops and black and white sunglasses (It was midnight.)
After they kind of threw us out, because the bar was closing, Mario remembered that behind the restaurant, there was this other bar that opens until much later, so we hopped to the next bar.
When we got there, we decided to sit outside, but there was only one table with one chair, so the guys asked people around if they were using the chairs that no one was sitting on.
In the table next to us there was this couple sitting, and while my husband was asking them if we could get one of their chairs, the lady looked at me and just jumped out of her chair, she came to me and said that I reminded her of her sister, and then she said "My God you're beautiful!", she sat next to me and continued her amusement at how beautiful I was, and she kissed my cheek like twenty times, all of these while she caressed my hair. Yes, yes, I know, SHE WAS TOTALLY HITTING ON ME, but you know what, I didn't mind, because after a month of being stuck in my house, being sick and taking care of sick children, it's good to hear someone saying that you are beautiful, even if they are drunk and even if they are the same sex as I am.
My friend Mario took some pictures of me, looking like a tomato while the lady was all over me, but I will have to ask him to e-mail them to me, because he already left to Bolivia.
The night ended with us coming home after the second bar closed. The guys stayed outside drinking and I went to bed.
